RareQoL Wellbeing
We are proud to be working with Rare Patient Voice supporting a new campaign led by one of our RCNet members David Ross -BEYOND LIMITS.
We are working in collaboration to promote the campaign and to raise awareness about men’s mental health in the rare disease space.

The World Health Organisation defines health as a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity (WHO, 1948).
The RareQoL team are advocates with long term health conditions. Our physical, psychological and social well-being have to be considered.
2021 marked a new era as we rose -up from lockdown. Our RareQoL Team are working with community groups and small Charities to develop projects and activities which will improve well-being and contribute to social prescribing initiatives.
We are following government guidance set out in the Well-being of Future Generations Act in the development of our well-being resources and activities.

North Wales Region 2021
Race Equality First (REF) have been funded by the Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board to produce a Health, Wellbeing and Mindfulness Booklet for minority communities in the North Wales region. This booklet will be translated into a number of identified languages and its aims are to offer information about health and wellbeing. It will also contain hints, tips and activities you can do from home or in your local area, and provide you with contact details to local and regional healthcare support services, organisations and groups.
