Equality Diversity and Inclusive Research Association
EDIRA Building Trust Symposium, took place in June 2024, at Edgebaston Park Hotel and Conference Centre, at the University of Birmingham campus in the UK. It was a pivotal event, aimed at fostering an inclusive research framework, that prioritizes trust and patient-centricity.
The Symposium successfully brought together a dynamic group of experts and advocates dedicated to advancing trust and inclusion within health, social care, education and the pharmaceutical industry. Through in-depth discussions and collaborative sessions, the symposium explored essential themes in trust-building, inclusivity, and ethics. Attendees engaged in knowledge-sharing across disciplines, creating a platform where valuable insights were exchanged on enhancing patient outcomes and promoting inclusive practices.
